This site is fairly new and it involves you listing your used paper back books, that you want to get rid of. PaperBackSwap.com will take anything from romances to action, cookbooks, how to books, any kind of books and also hardcover books. Then a person comes and requests that book. You print out a pre-made wrapper with the persons address and then send it to them via media mail about $1.50 a book and then you receive a credit to request books that you want. You can also receive one credit for every person you refer that posts nine (9) books.

This site has many different features, such as a wish list of books you want that aren’t listed in the data base. They also have a reminder list for books you want to read, and also a list of books you want to read.

This site also has live chat to talk about anything and everything book and non-book related. There are also many forums about almost any subject you want to talk to members about. There are also book related games and fun things. You can also leave reviews about books you have ready for others to see.

There is also a program threw them called, Box-Of-Books (BOB) where you pick a number of books from a persons list and they pick the same amount from your list and then you swap no credits needed. This is a controlled program. You cannot print an address until both have accepted and you can see the steps of your transactions as you go. You can also leave feed back so you know who is a good ‘Boxer’ and who isn’t.

When you search their data base of over 831,000+ books you can also search un-posted books and then add them to your wish list. Once some one posts a book on your wish list you get the opportunity to request it. When they become available you will get a notice and have 48 to accept or decline the book

This site is great for the people who love to read but hate buying new books and you can also get rid of books so you don’t have a huge stash sitting around.
