Orlando's Fiddler's Green Irish Tavern : Excellent Irish Ambiance and Cuisine!

Orlando is a great city with many things to do. Living in Miami, I go quite frequently to Orlando on business or pleasure or both. On this particular trip I took some business associates to a very nice Irish restaurant called Fiddler's Green Irish Tavern. If you like the whole Irish experience or are new to it, do not hesitate to try this restaurant. You wont be disappointed. The Fiddler's Green Irish Tavern is located in the downtown lake area of Orlando.

The Fiddler's Green Irish Tavern Review:

LOCATION: If you are out of town it will be easy to find the Fiddler's Green Irish Tavern. I usually print detailed instructions from Yahoo maps. The Fiddler's Green Irish Tavern is located at 544 W Fairbanks Ave, in Winter Park, Orlando. Basically you will take Interstate 4 to Fairbanks Avenue Exit in Winter Park and then head East on Fairbanks. When you get to the intersection of Fairbanks and Pennsylvania you will make a right turn (cross over Orange Avenue) and then make a left into the Fiddler's Green Irish Tavern parking lot. Their phone number is 407. 645-2050 in case you need to call them for further instructions

FOOD: Food served at Fiddler's Green Irish Tavern is excellent. I particularly like the fish served there so that is what I have each time I go there. But on this particular trip I had Galway Mussels, which were big mussels sautéed in white wine with cream and fresh chives. I also had Boxty potato cakes, the traditional Irish potato pancakes. One of my friends had some delicious fish and chips and another one had the Connaught Burger. For dessert we topped it all with Bread and Butter Pudding, which has a delicious whiskey sauce. They have a variety of both domestic and Irish beers. This time I preferred not to drink one.

SERVICE: Service at The Green Irish Tavern was excellent. We were a party of four. The server, a nice blond girl, was very patient with us. She answered all our inquiries and brought the food very fast. Although the The Green Irish Tavern was at full the server was patient with us. She was ready to assist us with our needs. I would just say that the service at The Green Irish Tavern was excellent!
