Super Smash Bros. Brawl Strategy: The Aura is with Me Event
Embed:
Newcomer Lucario got his hands full in The Aura is With Me Event in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Help are some tips to help this mysterious Pokémon survive one of the hardest events in the game. Overview
At 182% damage ratio, Lucario, a first time participant in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, is at his limits. This is where he is also at his best, however, since the damage of his attacks will increase the more he gets injured. Ness and Sheik/Zelda, both with full health, will be teaming against him. Each participant has only 1 stock of life to work with.
Unlocking the Event
The Aura is With Me Event is the 25th event in the game. You must complete the Subspace Emissary adventure mode in order to unlock it.
Rewards
You will unlock the Spear Pillar Stage once you beat The Aura is With Me Event. You will also need this event in order to unlock Event #41.
Basic Strategies
Stage
The Spear Pillar is one the most dangerous stages in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The stage has two levels with two small floating platforms hanging on top of it.
One of two Legendary Pokémons will appear occasionally to wreak havoc for both you and your enemies. They will send a devastating laser beam through the stage, flip the stage around to disjoint players and even distorts the time and gravity.
You don't have any real safe spot here. Since Lucario has only one stock of life and is at 182% damage ratio, it will be an uphill battle from the start.
Enemies
Ness magic and smash attacks make him a pain at short and medium range. His Psi Magnet special attack will also absorb Lucario's Aura Sphere and will heal him in the process.
Sheik is not only agile but she also has devastating smash attacks at close range. Running away from her with Lucario can be a chore. During the battle, she can transform into Zelda. While she may be slower in this form, her magic attacks make up for it.
If possible, try to take Sheik/Zelda out first since Sheik is the toughest character in the battle to run away from.
Items
Items will spawn few and far between. So jump on them immediately, especially if it is a powerful one like the Hothead, Smart Bomb, Warp Star and Poké Ball.
