The True National Security Threat
When Are Obama and McCain Going to Visit Tucson for a Briefing from the Minutemen?

While Barack Obama prepares for his trip to the Middle East and meeting with General Petraetus per Senator McCain's "advice" with respect to investigating the situation in Iraq and "success" of the surge, for the last several months all's been quiet on the western (and media) front during this election with the facts with respect to the true national security issue - our own broken borders. In Arizona, at this point probably the most contentious state in the nation with respect to this issue, and suffering the most war casualties (Senator McCain's "home" state, by the way) as probably now the most frequented crossing point (since the El Paso and San Diego fences were reinforced in the 90's), this has become a political battle between the state and feds, (with the politicians playing both sides and both pointing fingers at one another). I wonder who Senator McCain's fellow Arizonans fear most - the possibility of a nuclear or air attack from Iraq or Iran, or the possibility their daughter or son might be raped or murdered, or their car or identity stolen, or that another Middle Eastern pilot might move in their condo complex due to the open borders, amnesty agendas of the Washington politicos in bed with the large commercial corporations and unions who are benefiting from this situation? (In addition to those great other military contracts). It is interesting that when Mr. McCain on his rare trips to Arizona, is reported to be staying at the "Sedona ranch." There aren't too many ranchers in Sedona anymore - mostly Californians.
