Every city has got their thing, I suppose. We all know how the New Yawwker’s get down on New Year’s Eve. The ball drops, and thousands of people flood the streets for a little good cheer and much excitement. Atlanta, a mini-metropolis in its own right, has quite a few options for the New Year’s Eve celebrations.

1- Drop that Peach

Everyone knows that the Peach Drop at Underground Atlanta is the most famous, most happening place to be on New Year’s Eve. This year, the drop is going to be hosted by WXIA’s Paul Ossmann, and DaveFM’s Holly Firfer. The night is going to be filled with all sorts of musical acts. And since Underground Atlanta has opened many different venues, there is sure to be non-stop pouring of the bubbly—well, at least until 4:00am.
Revelers should be aware that the Peach drop is not just a one-hour thing. It’s a 16-hour celebration that starts at noon with all kinds of activities geared towards kids.

2- Do it Up in Style

The Biltmore ballrooms are going to be hopping this year. With a wonderful catered buffet, oodles of open bars, a 70’s & 80’s cover band and some surprise late night treats, this is one stop shopping for a glitzy NYE night.

The Biltmore’s party is being sponsored by Spiral Entertainment. And the party begins at 9:00pm until 2:30am. Don’t worry about not having a date for NYE. This party is for all. As a matter of fact, it typically attracts singles every year. So, you’re guaranteed not to feel like the odd man/woman out. The price is $100 per person (But look at all the perks!)
