Feng shui, literally translated wind and water, is a vital part of keeping up the positive flow of energies in our lives. When feng shui is applied to homes, offices, and other areas in which you live and work, these energies will bring amazing results! To enhance the flow of wealth and prosperity into your life try a few of these simple cures. In feng shui our living areas are divided into sections of a map called the bagua. Each division, (or gu'a), of the bagua relates to a specific area of our lives. The gu'a representing wealth and prosperity can be found at the very back left section of your home opposite the front door. Specific colors, vision boards, prosperity affirmations, and "rich" accents are all effective cures for increasing abundance however, the first and most important step is to clear all clutter! Clutter creates stagnation and is a major obstacle in the flow of energy through your home. Ask yourself these questions when it comes to the things in your home. Do I love it? Do I use it? If there are items that you haven't used in the past 12 months then these constitute clutter. Clothing that you "may" wear again one day, projects that are left unfinished, broken items, are all clutter. If the task of clutter clearing seems too daunting, begin small. Allot yourself 15 minutes dedicated to this task and when the time is up Stop! Taking small steps will lead to longer cleaning sessions due in part to the new flow of active energy. Not only will the positive changes appear in the area you are working on, they will appear in you as well.
