Recently I changed jobs, I wanted to work closer to home to save on gas money and to be closer to home with my family. This meant I had to take a slightly lower paying job since I would be moving from middle management back down the ladder to an entry level position at my new job. I've always lived by the old adage "Work smarter not harder" so I looked around online and in my town for ways to may a few extra dollars to make up for my slightly less income.

I found two online opinion survey companies that actually pay, it's not a great deal of money but between the two survey companies I've managed to bring in and extra $60 plus dollars a month to help ease up our tight household budget.

Now before you sign up for these companies yourself you must keep in mind that these surveys are sponsored by marketing companies so most of them are searching for certain demographics like married, single, Caucasian, African American, Latino, and those in different income brackets. So you won't always qualify for every survey at first, but after completing a few and getting rejected you will start to reap the benefits of actually earning rewards points to trade in for money.

The first opinion survey company is Opinion Outpost, this company also has the best payout of $1 for every 10 points earned. I'm averaging over $25 a month just from this company alone. You can let you points accumulate for awhile or cash out as often as you like, it takes 4-8 weeks for your rewards check to arrive in the mail so I cash out monthly to keep the checks coming in on a monthly basis.

You can sign up at https://www.opinionoutpost.com/join.php

The second opinion survey company I've found to be worthwhile is Light Speed Panel; they pay a little less than the above mentioned company but the offer several creative options to spend your rewards points on. You can redeem your points for money and have them deposited in your Pay Pal account, or redeem them for gift cards to different shops, restaurants, and websites and you can even redeem your points for products like DVDs, children's toy and small electronics and other great household goods.

Did You Know?
I met one woman who used this survey companies rewards to do all her Christmas shopping, she saves up her rewards points all year then she would cash them in for Gift Cards and products to give out as Christmas Gifts to her family and friends.
