I visited my friend in Chicago last summer for a vacation. I was there for a week to explore this beautiful city. There are many dog lovers in Chicago and the city has a number of dog parks. My friend too has a Dalmatian and so I had a chance to visit Lawrence Dog Park in the city.I was impressed by this park and for pet lovers like my friend this is the place to be with your dog. My friend likes the place and she visits it about twice or thrice a week. Lawrence dog Park also called 'PupTown' is the best dog park in the city and is the largest dog park in Chicago. The park is located right off Lakeshore Drive at Lawrence and Marine in Margate park.
The park is a hot favorite among dog owners. It provides an ideal atmosphere for bonding with your dog, canine interactions and let your dog run free. The fence is double gated and the park is fully enclosed and fenced. So you can let your pet off leash without any worries. There is a plenty of places for the pooches to run free while you can rest your back on those benches. The park includes restrooms, a drinking fountain, water for dogs and a small parking lot. Mowed paths run through the fields and along wooded areas.
A group of owners work together to maintain the park and they often have fund raising events to bring the community together and keep the park beautiful. So it is the right place if you want to join the community of pet owners and work towards the common goal of bringing happiness to the pooches. It is the best place to enjoy your dog run around and interact with other canines. It also gives an opportunity to dog owners to realx on those benches and share their pet experiences with other pet lovers. So the place serves best for social bonding of canines as well their owners.
If you have a busy schedule at day, the park gives you and your dog an appoprtunity to enjoy after sunset. It is well lit after dark. So you can go there to relax and enjoy with your pooch at the end of a tight scheduled day. On hot summer days, they have sprinklers to beat the heat and the dogs can play in those sprinklers and keep them cool.
