There are many people who are looking for a way to start up their own business on Ebay and do not know the first thing about getting started. I have found that Ebay is the portal to the world and this gives you an unlimited opportunity for sales and economic income but still allows for you to have the connivance of having an at home business. You can make your own hours, relax from home and control the amount of extra income that you make per month. However, there are a few things you should do to get you started :1) Find a distributor of a product that you like
It is a lot easier to sell products that you know and love and your customers will be able to tell that you have experience and knowledge about the items that you have for sale. This will produce comfort with you and an increased willing to shop with you.
2) Contact the distributor and arrange a deal
If you intend to sell the products you should make contact with the distributor and ask them to give you a wholesale discount on the products so that you can make the most money possible per sale.
3) Take good pictures
Most of the sales that go wrong on Ebay are become people take bad pictures, make sure that your pictures are clear and detailed for the buyer to see when you list your items and you will be on your way to success.
4) List your items
You can choose either the auction style or set up a buy it now to get rid of items faster. Make sure you use relevant keywords that will help buyers find your items and they will buy them. Make sure to include the pictures in your listing.
5) Sign up for Paypal
It takes only minutes to sign up for this online payment system but it has been shown that 70 % of buyers will not show with sellers that do not offer paypal. So sign up for the service and allow users to pay with this service because it makes the process easier for them.
Note : Paypal charges a fee for processing every transaction so you should factor that into your price or you could add it to the shipping price that you quote so that you keep the money in your pocket.
