The Princess theme is a hot one for birthday parties for girls; go to any party supply store and you will see so much pink and purple you may want to heave. Thankfully these don't go overboard with the 'cute factor'. The body of the cupcake liner is in a sweet shade of pink with white 'Birthday Princess' lettering and small hearts as accents The picks are in the same shade of pink with tiny accents and a very unique crown design. These can be used on just about anything from cakes to food items as well as on decorations and table favors.
When I made these they turned out looking great! I made a basic white boxed cake mix and divided it into two bowls, I added purple food dye to one and pink to another. That really helped with the inside of the cupcakes and people were really surprised when they bit into them. To top them off I made a simple frosting and added the same two colors of food dye but alternated them so the pink cupcakes got purple frosting and the purple cupcakes got the pink frosting. The Princess Cupcake liners and picks added a nice touch of color to them and every soccer mom there was green with envy.
