Some cultures and religions believe in reincarnation. You know, being born again and again, before the Big Guy Upstairs decides you've suffered enough and calls you to Him. Personally, I have no problem with that - until now, that is.Some experts predict that the entire world population will become vegetarian in the next 50 years. How did they arrive at this terrifying scenario? Apparently, in the foreseeable future, there won't be enough grain produced to feed both humans and livestock. Until now, a sizeable proportion of humanity does not eat meat; not necessarily because they are vegetarians, but because they cannot afford it. So only a reasonable percentage of total grain production needs to be diverted for cattle feed. Now it seems an increasing number of folk are making more money that they were and can afford meat. So a larger share of the world's agricultural output goes towards fattening animals. Soon, the powers that be will have to make a choice between feeding people or animals. No prizes for guessing who will win.
And as if that was bad enough, those self righteous eco-warriors are using up thousands of tons of corn to make fuel for running their cars. Corn is for eating, you morons. If you're such a green freak, ride to work on a horse.
Can you imagine a world without tenderloin steak and spare ribs? Going to McDonalds and having yr choice limited to a veggie burger? Having to go through life subsisting on broccoli and cauliflower - ugh. Please God, call me now.
