When I was born I had very thick hair, as I grew older so did my hair. I am 23 now and my hair is about 3 feet long and a lot more thicker. It's natural color is dark brown and because it's so long my curls have kind of died down. I decided to change my haircolor and to my surprise when I went to the beauty salon they wanted to charge me $80.00, I nearly fainted. I went ahead and did it anyways because I knew I wouldn't be able to pull it off on my own. Then my hair started to grow, and my hair grows pretty fast, so I had to get my roots done every now and then. Everytime I got them done it was $35.00 plus the tip. I couldn't afford doing this all the time, plus they take forever to get done with your hair and it seems like your there for hours.
I decided to take charge of the situation and try it myself. It is tricky to get the same results that you get at the beauty salon, but if you do some research you might be amazed at what you can do. I went to my favorite store Wal* Mart and browsed through all the different brands. I ran across L'oreal Paris's non-drip color creme. To get the same results I was getting at the beautysalon I went ahead and bought thedark golden blonde color. My haircolor isn't dark golden blonde, but if you read the side of the box it gives you an idea of what the results might look like.
I went home andopened the box, I was clueless since I have never done this before. It has complete instructions for people like me. Because I was only doing my roots I had to mix the protective color creme with the protective creme developer. You put these together in the bottle it provides and shake it well. Once your done shaking it you put the exclusive applicolor comb on the bottle for easy application.
This comb works wonders, you part your hair and comb through it while applying the color. Thecreme is really non-drip and very easy to apply.Once your done applying all of the color you wait at least 30 minutes and then your ready to wash it off. It also comes with a Protective Ceramide-Protein Conditioner and let me tell you that this conditioner leaves your hair super soft and silky. Whenever I have some left in the tube I save it and use it everytime I wash my hair.
