Who said Christmas traditions should be reserved for families? There are several great Christmas traditions for couples as well. The holidays are a wonderful time to show your creative side and do things to surprise your sweetie. Couples have very little alone time during holidays, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't take time out to celebrate some creative Christmas traditions. This Christmas start new Christmas traditions.

Mistletoe: This is a wonderful Christmas tradition for couples that goes back several decades, but why not make this Christmas tradition more creative? A very creative spin for this Christmas tradition is for couples to hang mistletoe in every door way of their home. This increases the chance that the couple will have a romantic Christmas kiss.

12 Days of Love Letters: In the 12 days leading up to the holiday skip the tradition of calling birds and give a gift of love. This is a very creative Christmas tradition for couples. Each day, they write a short love note and then on Christmas present they present each other with a long love letter that truly expresses their feelings.

Homemade Gifts: Homemade gifts are a wonderful Christmas tradition, but when couples celebrate this tradition, they should try to make it more creative. Couples should choose to make gifts that help to express their love for one another. Great gift ideas for this creative Christmas tradition would include love poems, decorated cookies, and hand carved gifts.

It's a Wonderful Life: Every couple should make it a Christmas tradition to watch this movie every year. This is such a wonderfully romantic Christmas film and it does couples good to take the time to watch it together. To make this Christmas tradition creative, prepare sweets that they might have had during that period. The couple could also make this tradition more creative by decorating their tree the way they would have in that period.

Yeah that is a great one. I like the poem one. I'm going to do the 12 days of love letters, but on the final day I'm going to do a full poem, frame it, and get a big frame so I can make the border around the poem be all the pictures of us.
