The Criminals Hall of Fame Wax Museum in Niagara Falls, Canada is one of the most bizarre wax museums in the world. Located at the top of the Clifton Hill , in the popular Niagara Falls tourist area, where wax museums of all types are found at every turn, the Criminals Hall of Fame Wax Museum is one that will make you look twice. The very idea of dedicating a wax museum to showcase some of the world's most infamous serial killers and evil movie characters, is one that can take a few minutes to process, and even then, I felt myself torn between bizarre fascination and repulsion. The featured infamous serial killers and real-life gangsters are mainly from the United States, where it seems serial killers and movie monsters have made a permanent impact on popular culture. Everyone from Al Capone to Jason from the classic horror movie series, Friday the Thirteenth, is preserved at the Criminals Hall of Fame Wax Museum in wax form. Each criminal has their own story added along the way through the museum, for more background about their crimes and notoriety.

The Criminals Hall of Fame

The Criminals Hall of Fame Wax Museum is one scary wax museum. The wax depictions of famous serial killers, mobsters, and sadistic movie villains are eerily well done. For the admission price of $5, anyone can take a tour through Canada's Criminals Hall of Fame Wax Museum. This is not a large wax museum, or a tour which will take very long for most visitors, but it is a tour which can prompt more than a few gasps and shudders. The Criminals Hall of Fame Wax Museum has been drawing in visitors for the past thirty years. Forget the Haunted House over on Clifton Hill. Those monsters are imagined, while the real-life monster wax figures at the Criminals Hall of Fame Wax Museum were real people at one time, often the worst sociopaths ever born on U.S. soil.

I've walked by this place but never gone in. I'm afraid that the "bad karma" there will stick to me. Since you said once was enough, I'll stay away entirely. Thanks for the review, though.

If I ever get up to that area, I will make a point to visit this museum. How much fun!
