Top Seafood Restaurants in Bradenton and Sarasota, Florida

Bradenton and Sarasota, Florida has some of the best seafood restaurants on the west coast of Florida, but I'm still amazed at the number of people who don't like seafood! Sometimes I'm tempted to ask them what planet are they from. But I also realize that everyone's taste is different, and we can't all love seafood. But finding good, fresh seafood is important to those of us who do love it. So when we find a place that serves it, we tend to hang onto it with our lives. I've found a few restaurants over the years that had excellent seafood, and excellent views. However a lot of them closed for whatever reasons, but there are still some good ones around. Below is a list of the top seafood restaurants in the Sarasota/Bradenton area, and the majority of them have fantastic views of either the Gulf of Mexico, Sarasota Bay or Tampa Bay. I hope you agree on at least one of these restaurants being your favorite, but again, not everyone's taste is the same, and that goes for restaurants as well. So enjoy.

It's close to Mote Aquarium, so it's a bit of a drive to get there, but if you like peel & eat shrimp, clams, fish gumbo, fish sandwiches, fish & chips, and crab cakes - then it's worth the drive. Plus the view is terrific. They have other items on their menu like chicken, ham, turkey and roast and beef. For dessert you can have your choice of cheese cake, key lime pie and chocolate mousse. All together it's a good place to eat with affordable prices.
