Although the restaurant closed for approximately a decade in the 1980's, it has since returned to its iconic status as one of Santa Monica's premiere dining spots. 2. Ivy at the Shore: Another great seaside dining experience can be found at this Santa Monica classic. A branch of Los Angeles' famous The Ivy, The Ivy at the Shore is located in Santa Monica at 1535 Ocean Avenue.
