Volunteering is something that's good for teenagers and adults alike. As a teen, it gives you a chance to get out into the world and perhaps make a decision of what kind of job you'd like to do in the future. Planned Parenthood is located at 123 E Indiana Avenue Spokane WA 99207. Volunteers for Planned Parenthood need to commit to working at least two hours a week for six months. Volunteers can help both clerically and clinically. Clerically you can help with data entry, phone calls, filing, etc. Clinically, you assist the staff as they help patients. Volunteers are also needed to fundraise for Planned Parenthood. Before becoming a volunteer, you will need to go fill out paperwork, go through an interview, pass a background check, give references, and attend orientation and training. Odyssey Youth Center strives to make life easier and offer support for LGBTQ and questioning youth in the community. Volunteers are needed to help make their experience to the center a safe and welcoming one. Very good article. I think its important to give your time and your character. Plus the summer months are a down time for everybody, it always makes you feel better to make others feel better.
