Delicious Potato Casserole

A Quick, Easy and Delicious Potato Casserole that Will Be Asked for Over and Over.

2 lb. package country style frozen has browns, thawed out
½ cup margarine or butter
2 TBSP minced onion or 1 envelope onion soup mix
1 can (condensed) cream of chicken soup
8 oz. sour cream, I use the light variety
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Mix all the ingredients together in a big bowl. Stir up very well, so everything is evenly mixed. Place in a buttered 13 x 9 baking pan and press down.

Topping:

Mix well and spread over the potato mixture. Spread to cover the entire top.

Bake in a preheated, 350* oven for 45 to 60 minutes and browned.

Given to me by my friend Joyce...she always makes this for church suppers. So very good too!

¼ cup melted margarine or butter
