Casey Johnson, wealthy socialite and inheritor to the Johnson & Johnson has just made waves for dating fellow heiress Courtenay Semel, daughter of former Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel. Previously Courtenay was rumored to be dating starlet Lindsey Lohan. Both women attended the VH1 Rock Honors and drove off in a car that didn't belong to them. Despite bringing it back 5 minutes later, their mistake was still enough to be noticed. Casey and Courtenay were also spotted snuggling at a party thrown by Paris Hilton and later having a romantic dinner at Nello, a New York restaurant known more for its celebrity scene than its culinary delights. Currently it's been rumored that Casey has decided to stay in Los Angeles, completely abandoning New York, to be with Courtenay.

A friend of the spotlight, Casey has been in the news several times in recent years. In 2004 Playboy model Nicole Lenz filed a defamation lawsuit against Casey and actress Bijou Philips. The lawsuit claimed that the two women created false rumors claiming that Nicole attacked Bijou at an LA nightclub and stole hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from Casey. The Johnson & Johnson heiress hired OJ Simpson lawyer Robert Shapiro to defend her against Lenz's lawsuit.

Then in 2006 Casey created more waves when she publicly accused her aunt of stealing her then boyfriend, John Dee. Claiming that during her trip to Cambodia in an attempt to adopt a child, she was suspicious of €Å"something unkosher€ between Libet Johnson and John. After a Page Six request for a comment about the supposed affair Casey unloaded her frustrations to the gossip column, causing a scandal amongst New York's elite.

Despite her infamous reputation, Casey has also shown her do-gooder side for many years. At the age of 8, she was diagnosed with diabetes and since then has been regularly involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in an effort to promote awareness of the disease. She even co-wrote a book on the topic at the age 14.
