Many people can not imagine paying $20,000 a month just for an apartment rental, keep in mind New York is a whole different world in comparison to what the average person is accustomed.
I found that one of the most reasonably price apartment rental was the West End Towers which is a block away from the Hudson River. The Apartment is pretty nice for the price. One, two, and three bedroom apartments are available as well as Studios. West End Towers also offer a Work out Gym for all residents and Dry Cleaning services are available. West End Towers is in a fairly good location, accessible to some stores and transportation, not all but some of the rooms have balconies.
