Radio has always reached the masses, and studies have proven that it is a good medium for advertising. Products and services are advertised in between music, and programs. For many years radio has been the trend in advertising. Today radio is now taking a seat behind the audio-visual medium, as well as TV, and the Internet.
Music websites have now come onto the scene. In the past music was only downloadable. Even with these downloads; companies were experiencing getting little visitors to their sites. The problem is when it comes to Internet marketing traffic plays a tremendous role. Without traffic a marketer's products and services will not be sold.
As a result of illegal music downloads, in which the music artists were loosing great amounts of money, the introduction to Internet music streaming came about. The use of radio streaming does not allow visitors to download music files. This protects the artist as well as record label producers.
There are several ways to stream audio from your site. One way is to stream a radio program from your site or blog. There are free affiliated programs, which allow you to stream their radio content from your site.
You can see what this will do for your site. Every time someone visits your site, there will be new audio content for his or her enjoyment. This is always up to date and requires little input from you. To get streaming to your site all you have to do is to signup with an Internet radio station, then embed their link in your blog or website. Your site will instantly have the most up to date music of the day.
Another option is to stream mp3's. If you wish to do this, you will need to upload mp3 files on a server and then add the file's links to the page. When a visitor clicks on a link the browser will open up a window, which is a media player window. It is important to make sure if you are using this kind of format that you have full approval to do so.
The third method of adding audio to your blog or website is to use stream music through organizing playlist. These are mp3 files, which are downloadable. This type can be complex to use.
