Niagara Falls Attractions: The Fun House on Clifton Hill

The Clifton Hill area of Niagara Falls, Canada, is one of the most visited tourist areas. This area on Niagara Falls is known for the many wax museums and circus-like attractions, which many return year after year to visit. Many of the Clifton Hill attractions in Niagara Falls are kid-friendly, and some, like The Fun House, appear to be particularly appealing to children from all outward appearances. The brightly colored Fun House sign and promises for a fun filled tour of a fun house are both reasons why I gave in and decided to purchase tickets to The Fun House, as my two youngest children tugged on my arm.

The Fun House Experience

An admission ticket to The Fun House costs $7.99 for adults, $7.49 for students and seniors, and $6.99 for children. Children under 4 are free. There is no general time limit for touring The Fun House, but it came as a surprise to reach the end in under fifteen minutes, even with a return trip backwards to the Anti-Gravity Room. The attractions along the way in The Fun House varied in appeal to the two children who experienced this attraction on my visit, ages 6 and 10.

Upon paying admission and scanning a ticket, visitors to The Fun House are faced with the daunting task of walking through a rotating barrel to gain entrance to The Fun House. A shaky bridge, just a few inches off the ground was the next challenge. The distorted mirrors, were a hit in the next room, while the series of lightweight punching bags might make any parent a little unsure. Luckily the punching bags do not hurt on impact and are very lightweight, but smaller children should be supervised.
