Surf Shops in Southern California

If you live in Southern California, you no doubt either have to be a surfer or know someone who is. California and surfing go hand in hand like spaghetti and meatballs. But do you know where the best surf shops are located? Well look no further because I have done the scouting and listed them here.

Aloha Cruz Shop is located in Redondo Beach. They not only have the newest merchandise but they also sell vintage surf and Hawaiian items. You can find almost anything here from a bird of paradise print sarong dress to surfing magazines.

Becker Surf Boards has several locations throughout California: Hermosa Beach, Malibu, Mission Viejo, Corona Del Mar, Huntington Beach and Encinitas. The owner, Phil Becker, has shaped more than 100,000 boards in his career. So they have a huge selection of surf boards and accessories like wax and bags.

Half Moon Bay Board Shop is located in Half Moon Bay. Best place in California to purchase wetsuits. Well that is my opinion anyways because over the years, when I lived in Cali, this is where I always went to purchase my wetsuits. They also have a great selection of boards including used boards and they have an array of board rentals.

Jack's Surf Shop has 4 locations in Huntington Beach, Dana Point, Corona Del Mar and Newport Beach. They have a pretty huge selection of women's surfing gear such as cabana trunk board shorts and hooded sweatshirts. I find many of the surf shops cater more to men but Jack's has a variety of men's and women's items.

Killer Dana Surf Shop is located in Dana Point. Another awesome surf shop for women. But they have men's stuff too. They carry a large selection of boardshorts, surf boards and board bags. Many of the employees that work here are area second and third generation surfers so they are helpful in helping you decide on exactly what you need.

Liquid Surf Shop is located in Pacific Grove. My cousin gets all of his surfing gear here. The employees that work here are experienced surfers so they know a thing or two about surfing and are very knowledgeable on surfing gear and accessories.
