The Fault Dear Bush is Not with Congress but with Yourself that You're a Moron
Embed:
It's been bleak on the writing frontfor the last few weeks.
It's been slow in the relationship department
with no new love to brag about or fret over
and now that Hillary has dropped out of the race,
political news seems to have leveled off;
at least for the moment.
So imagine my delight
when I logged into my computer
and saw the tantalizing headline
Stating that Bush and congress are at odds
over the cause of high gas prices.
and imagine the thoughts that raced through my head
when I discovered that Bush is blaming congress
for the ever rising price of gas.
I couldn't even make it through the article
before grabbing pen and paper
Well, of course, it's easy to see what this is about.
The blame game begins anew
Blame it on congress with a democratic majority
As if anyone would believe it's congresses fault.
As if people are too stupid to realize the reason why.
As if Bush could truly convince anyone of anything anymore.
Maybe he's that gullible; maybe he's that easily led
maybe his level of intelligence is so low that
he underestimates the capability and the thought process
of the average human being.
But anyone with half a mind
and any type of memory knows
when and why the gas prices began to rise.
Bush sent our troops to Iraq and started a war
without asking anyone, including congress
if it was the right thing to do.
and the reason for the rising cost of gas
begins and ends right there.
