New Year's Resolution Suggestion for John Kerry #1      John Kerry should resolve before he does another political thing to think seriously about whether or not he really should run again for president.  He ran in 2004 and many think the election was his to lose - and he did!  Serious consideration should be given to what , if anything, has changed in the makeup of John Kerry or the electorate's perception of John Kerry that would allow for a different result the second time around.  If he honestly thinks he is a better and more desirable candidate than he was in 2004 then he should put his nose to the grindstone and get on with it.  Otherwise, he may decide to just enjoy his stint in the Senate of the United States.

New Year's Resolution Suggestion for John Kerry #2  :     John Kerry should resolve to remove even the remotest thought about telling a joke during his reelection campaign.   He recently, more than adequately , proved that he is classically unschooled in the fine art of levity.  He undoubtedly has his own brand of humor and he may be the funniest guy present at a family event .  But whatever humor he does have doesn't seem to translate well to the masses.  The only joke he should be allowed to make would be one about what a bad joke teller he is.
