Bond, James Bond. These words have become classic over the years and the Bond series is one of the greatest and longest running series of all time. This years' version, Casino Royale, had the Bond faithful a bit nervous. Pierce Brosnan is no longer playing the James Bond role. This year Daniel Craig takes his turn as Bond, and this had many people skeptical. "He's too blonde!" people feared. Get over it people, this Bond kicks ass.

Casino Royale takes us back to the beginning of Bond, before he had a license to kill. In this film, we get to see Bond gain his '00' status and we see Bond as he learns how to become, well, James Bond. This movie opens up with a bang. The fight scene at the beginning was a great way to open this film and shows how Bond outsmarts his enemies. Bond decides to investigate, independently of MI6, in order to track down a terrorist cell. This leads us to a high stakes poker game that takes place at Casino Royale. This high stakes poker game is put together by Le Chiffre, a banker who is attempting to raise money to fund terrorism. MI6 assigns 007 to play against him, knowing that if Le Chiffre loses, it will destroy his organization. This high stakes poker game takes Bond through a series of action packed sequences in order to take out the terrorist supporter. The marathon game proceeds with dirty tricks and violence, raising the stakes beyond money. The game takes many twists and turns leaving you on the edge of your seat to find out what happens next, I won't ruin the ending for you.
