Diversity for the Good of All

The first strategy for solving the problem of prejudice and discrimination in the workplace would be through educating the public about it. Then the second strategy would be enacting laws to make affirmative action a reality for all; advancement for all who deserve it, because of wrong perpetuated by racism. The third strategy for ending prejudice and discrimination in the workplace would be to reward those companies that have benefited from past discriminations and now want to make amends.

In order for society to be completely eradicated of prejuon is to nip it in the bud. One way for elimination of discrimination is to stop racism. People must be educated about themselves and if they are prejudice they have a choice to rid themselves of it. After the problem of unequal hiring and housing has been defeated because of this knowledge, then we will be well on our way toward a truly pluralistic society. There must be public organizations and private also the would put the neesscessary rhetoric and blue print forward to be implemented for success.

Government must be at the center of the task force that will be given the proper support to get beyond affirmative action to the next phase; which will be justice for all. After America begins to live up to its fullest potential the people would then realize that bias doesn't pay off. Then people would be less bias toward one another. The American culture, which encompasses all the other subcultures and would be able to learn from the words of another famous King-Rodney King: who said after the L A riot of the 1990's "why can't we all just get along". Yes the drunk, the Asian, the Hispanic, the Indian, the Blacks, and the Whites and every body else who's not mentioned here just must learn to get along. Our society then would be people respecting others for who they are and what's on the inside of that person. This new society could be accomplished through education and hard work. Most importantly through diversity in the workplace.
