So you have made your way all the way to the islands and now you have one question to ask. Where do I go to have a little bit of fun? Whether you are a young socialite or an aging forty-something that wants to relive the glory days, the Virgin Islands offer enough nightlife to keep you satisfied for days on end. These people know how to treat you during the day and make no mistake; they want nothing more than for you to have a great time when nighttime falls. So where are the best places to go in order to have a great time? There are many to choose from and all the cool kids hang out at a couple in particular.

The Sugar Mill in St. Thomas is the without a doubt the new place to be. It is brand new and remains the largest entertainment setting in all of the Virgin Islands. This is a place that has just about everything. If you like sports, there is the island’s biggest and best sports bar. For those who are more inclined to drink a glass of wine and some champagne, it allows for that as well.

St. Thomas has a couple of other places to take in some nightlife, as well. If you are tired of The Sugar Mill, why not head over to the Turtle Rock Bar. This place is known for its lively happy hour and the drink specials that happen there. If you like great hamburgers, good bars, and live entertainment, this is probably your stop. There is always something to do at the Turtle Rock Bar.

Bomba’s Surfside Shack in Tortola is a great place to experience authentic Caribbean nightlife. It is the British Virgin Islands’ most chic hangout spot and has gained acclaim for its entertainment internationally. Be sure to take in one of this spot’s Full Moon Parties if you have an opportunity and never pass on the rum punch. Here, the liquor never stops flowing and the people are happy. After all, why wouldn’t they be?

I'm planning a Caribbean cruise (maybe I'll even be able to afford to take it some day :P) and hope to get to visit the Virgin Islands.
