There are two things in my life that always ensure me happiness. The first is my husband and soul mate of 43 years. The other is my grandchildren. This poem was written for my grandson.

You are the joy that fills my heart.
Your smile lights up all of my days.
I love feeling your tiny arms
Reaching to pull me close to you.

You are always glad to see me.
To you, I'm perfect as I am.
I exist without fault or flaw.
You love me without conditions.

Through your eyes I see a new world
And it is a beautiful place
Full of wonder and excitement
Where anything is possible.

The day you were born so was I;
Reborn into a happy space
With a life full of hope and faith.
How did I exist without you?
