Where to Buy Chupacabras T-Shirts and Merchandise

History Channel's Monsterquest delved into the legendary Chupacabra Wednesday night, even offering DNA investigation in an effort to identify the nature of the beast. While the original chupacabra reports relate to goat killings by a monstrous creature back in 1955 in Puerto Rico, the

current chupacabra suspect is described as coyote-like and hails from Texas. Other chupacabra sightings have been reported throughout the years within the Americas from Maine to Chile.

Whether chupacabras actually exist is a determination the biologists will have to make. The DNA evidence suggests that the legendary chupacabras- at least chupacabras said to be roaming Texas recently- may be something akin to a common coyote. But the chupacabra mystique has created a specialty market of chupacabra clothing and merchandise. That market is likely to be fueled by the Monsterquest presentation. Where can you get your own chupacabra t shirt or merchandise?

Cuero Chupacabra Sells T-Shirts, Caps, and Koozies

Texas resident Phyllis Canion, who appeared on Monsterquest and believes she has spotted a mother and baby chupacabra on her property, opened up a T-shirt business. Canion's Cuero Cupachabra has sold 10,000 chupcabra T-shirts throughout the United States and in 21 foreign countries as far afield as Australia. She sells caps, t-shirts and koozies bearing the Texas chupacabra image through her website. But the Chupacabra Lady, as Canion calls herself is not the only source of cupachabra merchandise.

Café Press Sells Chupacabra Clothing and Signs

I think it's more than just simple mange creating Chupacabras from Dogs and Coyotes. I've found reports of similar periodic reports of "vampire dogs" in England going back 200 years. Here's the link http://www.dappercadaver.com/blog/2008/08/18/monster-mondays-chupacabras-around-the-world/ There are also old reports of people being bitten by Chupacabras and the strange symptoms that causes.

Thanks for the article. I saw a blurb on this but didn't take time to read it. I'd rather read it from a fellow AC producer anyway.

And don't forget El Mundo Gira, the X-Files episode from, I believe, season four, that is a top notch examination of the chupacabra myth.

Great article! Congrats on being featured on the front page. Chupacabras are just too ugly for me to want their image on anything I own.
