A Surprising Number of Fun and Free Things to Do Exist in the Orlando Area
Orlando has many attractions, most of which are tailored for tourist or convention visitors. For visitors who overtapped their finances but still have a day or two left in the area or for residents there are also some very nice and quite affordable attractions. These can be used as veryAffordable or Even Free Day Trips in the Orlando Area
Here are a few of the Day Trips that have been our favorites on past visits to the Orlando area. We start with a recommendation which can be utilized as either a one very full day trip or as two, three or even four separate day trips. Combining them in one way or another would save on fuel and transportation costs and make them even more affordable.
Eastward from Orlando are four great free attractions. These are the Fort Christmas Historical Museum and Park, the Kennedy Space Center, the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and the Canaveral National Seashore At last checking each of these sites had free admission to all or significant portions of each of these great locations.
