War on the Jolie-Pitt Miraval Estate

Paparazzi Invade the Estate for Pictures

Is nothing in our world sacred any longer, why can a family not celebrate the birth of their children in peace no matter who that family is? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt recently had the pleasure of bringing home
their twin babies, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, to the chateau. Yes these are two very famous people in the U.S. everyone knows them and wants to know everything about them but truly where is the line drawn.

When stars have babies they sell the pictures for thousands and sometimes even millions of dollars. Dollars that go nowhere but to line their pockets and go straight into their large bank accounts. Angie and Brad have made the effort to sell their twin's photos to the highest bidder but only if the money will go to charity. It is reported that the sale will be made for the price tag of $11 million dollars. With big hearts like these two have one would think that the paparazzi would respect their decision and choice of whom they wish to sell their pictures too.

No, you guessed it according to the news this morning on Comcast a report by the Associated Press tells, a story of two paparazzi who dressed in camouflage gear and entered the Jolie-Pitt Estate. Their plan was to take unwanted and unsolicited photos of the couples twins. This brought on a fight between the guards hired by Jolie and Pitt to protect their estate and family from just this sort of thing.

It has been reported that no one actually knows how long the photographers were on the estate or how many pictures they took before being found. There was a fight that ended with just a few bruises but no serious injuries to either the guards or the paparazzi. They were however taken to the station house for questioning. It has not been said what if any laws have been broken. Is it appropriate for the guards to fight with the paparazzi, would it be a matter of who is legally allowed on the property, what if anything is allowed in order for the guards to keep them away?

Good article. The pappararzzi have no respect for anyone. I do admire J-P for donating the money to charity. Unlike some people, who make money off of their children due to lack of careers, etc.

Great Piece :) If I was rich and famous charity would be something I would donate to and people trying to take stolen pics is like stealing from charity I hope those paps get jail time.

I like the JP's idea of donating the baby picture money to charity... making lemonade out of lemons to be perfectly cliche.

Paparazzi have no ethics whatsoever...

So some charity is going to get 11 million dollars? I sure hope that charity holds a press conference to let the world know that they received the 11 million. That way we won't just be taking the word of two actors that they "donated" this money for a good cause. After all, when you sell your own flesh and blood, you should get your money's worth

Agreed, paparazzi go to far for sure.

I totally agree. I think it's great that they raise so much for charity. They seem to be good people with big hearts. It's too bad that can't just enjoy all their hard work without being pestered.
