This poem was written after an in depth study of lust and adultery in the Bible. If you'd like to access my study notes, you can read them here.

Do not drink the poisoned waters of lust
Just one drop contaminates the body and soul
Leading only to the path of death
Consuming your flesh and body
Bringing you to utter ruin

Give in to lust and you will be brought down,
You and all your loved ones with you
Complete devastation
The enemy seeks to destroy you
Lust is a potent weapon

Opening that web page or calling that number
is like proclaiming your own death sentence
By lust you are led to the screen
like an ox going to the slaughter
You do now know what it will cost you

The evil one waits
He sees his opportunity
Be careful if you think your feet are on solid ground
Lest you may sink and fall
Ensnared and held fast by your desire

Do not die for lack of discipline
Out of commission
Out of vision
Languishing
in the depths of the grave
