From a perspective of balance, the new Putrajaya seat of power for the ruling Malaysian government is placed very far away from Kuala Lumpur, sitting majestically, pretty & isolated along with CyberJaya. Visiting Putrajaya will have you travel in a rippling travel portal, bending all matter, transported to the Putrajaya city of the future! The multi billions spent on the former Prime minister's pet projects could have been put to better use like improving the life of the poor in Malaysia & helping the jobless folks. I am not too keen on the Putrajaya project because I believe it is an unnecessary as well as premature new seat to showcase Malaysian power.

What is wrong with the one in Kuala Lumpur; looks too British colonial era perhaps or maybe just too plain shabby? Well, anyway, now it's more old buildings to be put on the Malaysian museum archive list. Perhaps the former Malaysian prime minister, Datuk Seri Mahathir Muhammad had thought too far into the future, thinking that the vast unused space between KL, Putrajaya, KLIA, & Cyberjaya will fill up fast to make Kuala Lumpur an advanced cosmopolitan city. Nonetheless, for his sake, it was probably perceived as best to have it done during his rule as Prime minister. Anyway, his mark has been made & he will be remembered for the massive development projects, most definitely!
