Celebrate Christmas at one of the Chicago area's many churches for the joyous, meaningful  message of the Christmas Spirit.  There are many fine churches in the Chicago area, who welcome everyone with great joy anytime, and especially at Christmas Time.  For the purposes of this article, I have listed information about Christmas services at large interdenominational churches in the Chicago area.  Even if you have never been to one of these churches before, you can feel very comfortable entering their doors to worship and hearing  the joyous Christmas message.

Willow Creek Community Church is a Christian, Bible based,  non-denominational church which has experienced phenomenal growth in South Barrington. Willow Creek offers ten Christmas services during Christmas week.  Willow Creek seats 7,500 in their main auditorium.  Share Christmas with an abundance of creativity and the true meaning of Christmas. Willow Creek's Christmas services are always awesome.  There is a Christmas message with lots of music and singing.  Attend Christmas services at Willow Creek and you will feel especially blessed this season.  If you have never been to Willow Creek Community Church, it is worth a journey.! All are welcome to the Christmas services.   Tickets are free, but advance reservations are recommended. Tickets will become available in December.  Check the Willow Creek website for information as it becomes available.  Willow Creek also has satellite locations, that have individual services, with portions of the service from the main church on tape.  The satellite services are held in  Wheaton , Chicago, Northfield, and Crystal Lake.  Although the seats are ticketed and reserved in advance, there are almost always seats that become available prior to performance
so even if you do not get an advance ticket, you are welcome.

Worth a chuckle. This article as listed as "related" to my article on 5 tourist attractions we regret missing along the Fairy Tale Road in Germany. At first I was nonplussed- could the reason for the relationship between my article and one on church services be as absurd as my mention of the Devil and a ghost? Now I realize the mere use of the phrase "Chicago" (as in my reference to Mrs. O'Leary's clumsy cow) must be the common denominator.
