Affordable Projectors: HP Mp3320 and Toshiba Projectors Reviewed
New Tech Product Reviews : These Projectors Wont Break the Bank!
What does one look for in a projector? Here are some criteria:
1) Size ( should be compact)
2) Weight ( should be light weight)
3) Warm up time and shut-down time (time taken to get the image on the screen: should be low)
4) Focus ( projectors should provide sharp images and good focus)
5) Hardware ( wireless is preferable : machine does not heat up as fast as the one with out wireless equipment)
There are a few projectors that have these features. Well, most of them, anyways.
1)The HP mp3320 is one such projector. If you are planning on giving on site presentations, then this is a good investment. While it has a great lumen out-put (24000 lumen), it does come with one or two cons. It heats up quickly. It does have an LED to warn about over-heating, but the picture acquires a yellow shade as it gets heated.
The HPmp3320 digital projector is equipped with Digital Light Processing (DLP) from Texas Instruments. The result: XGA images. While other projectors do not get heated to the same extent, they are not as bright.
Adding to the list of advantages is the fact that this digital projector comes with a padded case and a small remote control!
Yes, we are all looking for the information on the hardware. Here's something most of us have seen when handling a projector: the lens cap is attached to the body of the projector with a small string. The HP mp3320 has a sliding lens cap. Neat!
2) The Toshiba TDP-T95: If you want to buy a good projector without spending much , then Toshiba offers a couple of good choices. The user can choose between Toshiba TDP-T95U and Toshiba TDP-T95P. The DLP costs $1299, compared to the HP mp3320 which costs $1999.00. You may not break the bank, but you won't get the high portability and the short time required to get an image on the screen. As mentioned before, these are two very important criteria to consider when choosing a projector.
If you think that the projector from HP is "all-that" , then you must read about the options offered by Toshiba.
True, its larger than the HP mp3320. However, here are some goodies it comes with :
1)2.5 to 25 ft image projection range ( You never know!)
