Free Online Pocket PC Games

I bought my Dell Axim several years ago to keep track of my various schedules and appointments and to have access to Microsoft Word for jotting down notes and ideas that come to me when I am nowhere near my desktop PC. What I never thought I would use my Axim for when I was planning my purchase was for playing games, but I must admit that it has become one of my favorite pastimes.

If I am stuck waiting in line or for an appointment, or if writer's block hits, you can more than likely find me with my Dell Axim wasting some time or clearing my thoughts by playing a game or two. Best yet, I discovered not long after I found out how much fun playing games on it is, that there is a literal plethora of online games">free online games made specifically for the Pocket PC crowd.

Some of my preferred online sites for downloading free games from, along with some of my favorite games that I have found include the following choices:

Games and other freeware and shareware titles on this site are broken down by category, making searching for a specific title or genre a bit simpler than some of the other free pocket PC sites I have come across. The site ahs also been around a while, which makes it nice when I am in search of something new to play. Too often, I have bookmarked a site only to go back to it a few weeks later to find it has already bit the dust. There are a lot of Google ads and other forms of advertisement on the site, but considering that all of the titles are freeware or shareware, I find it tolerable.

My current favorite download from FrewarePPC.com is Christmas Rush v2.0. This game is in 3D and the graphics are great. You fly Santa's sleigh and drop presents onto targets on the ground because he is running late and does not have time to stop at all his designated spots.
