How to Effectively Remove Your Doubts in God

Being a believer in a divine being that is all good, honest, loving, caring, a daily provider, protector, and any other attribute you might know of in this world of conflict, death, war, disease, hunger, natural disasters, human generated evil and the like might be impossible.

Believers in God have been attacked by atheists to explain the presence of evil in a world they say is under the guidance and control an all powerful and ever present loving and caring God. Not only is it difficult to explain this, but also to explain it more vividly to yourself and maybe the wondering neighbors when the God you worship does not always answer your prayers, nor protect you from personal calamities.

What is it about God that most of the times (many people tend to remember the bad things that do happen in their lives) he is not ready or even present to save you from a disaster, or even for warn you of a coming disaster? When compared to the dealings of God with the people of old like Abraham, Isaac, Moses, and the Old Testament prophets, we always say that God was more close to these people than he is to us. But is there anything on our side we need to understand in order to fully explain the abundance of care God has given to us, so that we can fully trust in his promised and rely on his protection, no matter what kind of disaster strike?
