All Natural Floor Cleaner

When I moved into my first home I was determined to live as natural, green and environmentally sound as possible. I have tried many different floor care options, both standard and natural, in the last six years but I must say the Ecover Ecological Floor Soap with Linseed Oil beats them all. This floor care product is meant for non-treated floors such as tiles, marble, concrete and linoleum.

Ease of Use

This floor cleaner is as simple and easy to use as anything else on the market. One to two capfuls, depending on the dirtiness of the floor, in a regular mop bucket of warm water is all you need. One 32 oz. bottle will allow you to mop roughly 40 times. Due to the concentrated nature of the product you receive far more uses to the bottle then standard cleaner. Ecover's floor care product cleans effectively and quickly almost instantly removing dirt and stains. It leaves an all natural shine and smells wonderful. This floor cleaner wins over everyone that enters my home on smell alone. The saponified oils fill the pores of the floor nourishing it and keeping out those pesky bits of dirt and grime that so frequently stain. It dries quickly and without a filmy residue. This is the only floor cleaner out there which never requires any hard scrubbing. If a stain is deep or particularly sticky simply allow the cleaner to sit for a few moments on the spot and the grim easily wipes away.

Affordability

A bottle of Ecover's Ecological Floor Soap is comparable in cost to other floor cleaners on the market such as Murphy's Oil Soap or Pinesol or any of the other standard cleaners. However, with Ecover you actually receive more. A 32 oz. bottle of Murphy's Oil soap for example, only allows you 15 to 20 cleanings, so in reality, Ecover Ecological Floor Soap with Linseed Oil costs half as much as any of its competitors. This is wonderful because it means fewer trips out to the store.
