What in the world is Datpiff ? Datpiff is a website that offers thousands of mix tapes for free download. All of the latest mix tapes from your favorite DJs and favorite artist can be found on the site.
You can see the mix tapes added daily on the front page or you can view the featured mix tapes on the side of the site. There is a search for all the mix tapes, DJs, and artist that's ever been added to the site. You can search by most download or most popular which I think is a good feature to find all the best mix tapes.
How do you download a mix tape? First you may want to create a free account. Then just find a mix tape you like and click on the image of the mix tape cover. Click the download button and a few options will come up. Just click basic server and that is it. The mix tape is compressed in Win-Zip format so it is required you have a version of Win-zip. There is also a premium user option. This is for users who upgrade so you can download multiple mix tapes all at one time with the Datpiff downloader.
Can you listen to a mix tape before you download it ? Of course you can. Beside the download button there is also a listen button. Click listen and the Datpiff player will come up with the tracks from that particular mix tape. You will also see a link and embed button. The embed code allows you to post your favorite mix tape players on your website or myspace page.
Below your button options you can view the track listing of the mix tape you've clicked on. There you will see comments and feedback from users who has downloaded that mix tape.
