the years their visit has revolved around trying various new camp ground some where in the Southern California area. We often went to visit them. This article is a list of their favorite places.

Their most favorite campground is the Newport Dunes RV Resort. The Dunes has probably the most complete park fpr a visiting RV in Southern California. With it's own nearby water park, restaurants, repair facilities, a marina and even RV sales facilities the Dunes has everything an RV visitor needs. There are over 50 camping spots directly on a private beach that has its own swimming lagoon. There are hundreds of other quality spots as well and most are somewhat covered by shade trees. The Dunes has been in business for 50 years and is more popular than ever. The Dunes RV Resort and Park is located on Back Bay Drive in Newport Beach.

Another favorite is the Glen Eden Camping Club near Corona, California. This is one of the kid's favorites because of two pools and games the family can play together. The adults like this location because it feels private and although often very busy it is a secure a safe feeling location to camp. Full FV facilities are offered and available plus lots of options for inexpensive, or free, recreational activities right in the camp grounds. Glen Eden is on the road from Corona about 60% of the way to Lake Esinore which is one of the attractive sights to visit in the area. There is also a very nice but small campground at Lake Esinore Campground that they stayed at. The shore line of that lake is quite steep and for that reason they only stayed there one time.
