Review of Summin's Oriental Restaurant
This is an excellent restaurant. They serve Japanese and Chinese Food. Summin's Restaurant is located in down town coos bay on highway 101.
My personal favorite dish is the chicken teriyaki noodle bowl. It only costs $6.50, and is big enough that you can easily take half of it home to save for later. The Teriyaki chicken noodle bowl can also be made with rice instead of noodles, or beef instead of chicken or even a

United States of America combination of chicken and beef with your choice of rice or noodles. Personally, I love the noodles and highly recommend them.
Summin's Restaurant also has excellent sushi. Sushi is actually what they are best known for. I'm not a big Sushi fan, but I have tried, and really enjoyed the California Rolls, which are made with imitations crab. The salmon and cream cheese sushi is also very excellent. However, the sushi is a lot more expensive than a lot of the other things on the menu such as the noodle/rice bowls. The price of sushi typically ranges from around $8 to $10 per dish. It is a little more expensive than some of the other dishes, but its good sushi, so if you like sushi, its worth it.
The service at Summin's Restaurant is always excellent and reasonably fast. The waiters and waitresses are all very friendly, polite, and efficient. I really enjoy eating there. It is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Coos Bay and is my absolute favorite restaurant for oriental food. Summin's is not a fast food place though, so don't expect your food immediately. They are by no means slow, however. It just takes a little time to make great food. Plan to wait 15 to 20 minutes for your food. Some people think that is too slow, but for good food, I don't think it could be much faster.
