Everyone has their own brand of music that they like to listen to, but there some songs or bands that everyone can listen to. The first time I saw Celtic Woman was when I saw their first show for PBS. Unfortunately, I had just caught the end of it, but I was able to catch it all later when they showed it again. I enjoyed their show so much, I bought both the DVD and the CD. Their show is a delight to watch, not just for the music, but also because of the beautiful dresses and the way their show is organized. They have songs that can relax you after a hard day of work and songs to get you energized.

I usually listen to country music, but have become a fan. I have also played this for my sister, who is more of a fan of pop and rock, and my mother, who likes oldies. They both enjoyed it and both have their own favorite songs. They especially enjoyed the more energizing ones. My friends also enjoy listening to their music and I haven't received any complaints when I play one of their CD's in the car. Celtic Woman not only play older Irish music, but also play some more modern songs. Their combination of the old and the new makes for a wonderful experience.

Celtic Woman won the world over with their first CD. It stayed #1 on the Billboard Music Charts for 81 weeks. It was then replaced and pushed down to #2 by their CD, 'A Christmas Celebration'. They will be releasing their third CD, 'A New Journey', at the end of January 2007. Their Celtic Woman CD has reached certified gold status and the Celtic Woman DVD has reached certified platinum. Celtic Woman was supposed to be a one night show at Dublin's Helix Theatre, but is still going. Celtic Woman is made up of five very talented women.
