Kentucky Headhunters to Perform at Cotton Pickin Festival

The Kentucky Headhunters Will Perform in Arbryd City Park September 13, 2008

Arbyrd, Missouri, is a small town just across the Arkansas-Missouri state line, just outside Greene County, Arkansas, and just inside the Dunklin County, Missouri line, sits little Arbyrd, Missouri. The only way that a visitor to this area might have even heard of this little town is because not far from Arbyrd is a phenomena known as the Senath Lights, which over the years, has become a spooky place for teenagers to go and experience the bright light which seems to appear for no reason in the middle of a graveled road.

In fact, Arbyrd is one of those places that if a person did not know of its existence, it would easily be overlooked and driven through without a second thought, but not this September! This little country town of Arbyrd whose estimated population in 2007 was 500, is about to host one of the biggest country music acts in history. The Kentucky Headhunters will be performing at Arbyrd City Park, September 13, 2008!!

This event is part of the Cotton Pickin Festival and poker run among other events scheduled to take place to raise money for the Arbyrd City Park. This is one little town with mighty big plans and expectations for the future. Whatever this town lacks in population, it makes up for in spirit of community and the ability to work together to accomplish great things.

The Cotton Pickin Festival Country Concert and Bootheel Biker Poker Run will be one of the biggest events of the year for this small, country town and is expected to draw a huge crowd to this often overlooked little community. The prices vary for this event and those who wish to ride in the Poker Run and commit to more than a one-day schedule can pay about $30.00 to enjoy the company of the Poker Run, one meal provided for the trip, and any other special events that are planned for the Biker section of the event.
