I work at home as a freelance writer but I have to admit that it does get boring at times. So I like to find fun ways to make money to give me a break from the writing aspect of my life. Here are some fun ways to do
just that.
AC Nielsen Homescan Consumer Panel- I have tried this in the past but it was too much work for me. My best friend does this and she loves it. I have to warn you that you may be on a waiting list. This is a very popular program. I was on the list for close to 7 months when I enrolled. You will receive a scanner in the mail with complete instructions and software. You scan every product you purchase from places like grocery stores, clothing stores or furniture stores. You get points every time you upload you list to AC Nielsen. The points can then be used to purchase stuff like electronics, video games, toys and household products.
Brand Port- I just signed up for this this morning. Apparently you view ads that you are interested in and that is the only ads you will view. You then answer a few questions about each ad and that is all there is to it. You can get paid via PayPal or you can accumulate points to purchase merchandise through their site.
Cha Cha Search- I have been doing this for about 3 months and it is a lot of fun. As a Cha Cha guide, you are a human search engine. It pays between $5-$10 dollars an hour.
ExpertRating Quiz Development Program- I signed up for this today and am excited to hear back. It is a program where you get paid to write quizzes. They pay at least $1 per quiz and payout is every 25 quizzes.
Google User Experience Research- If chosen, you will use a new or existing Google product and then give feedback on it. They pay $75 for each hour that you spend either in person or on the phone with a Google researcher. You can also get paid for online surveys but the amount depends on the length of the survey.
Just Answer- This site is a lot of fun. You choose your area of expertise and then people ask questions, you answer them and get paid for it.

I found Part 2 while looking at Product Testing articles, but it took a long time to find "Part 1" You may want to add links either in your article or under the Resources area to make it easier for people to make their way through your articles. Both are good articles! I printed them both so I can check some of this stuff out. Thanks for the great info!
