A long sword, at least close to six feet long, is necessary for anyone attempting sephiroth cosplay. A sephiroth sword is an integral part of such a costume: but the top source for these swords (trueswords.com) no longer carries a Sephiroth Sword. No worries, though, they are still rampant on the internet. Just be sure to order yours early to allow for any complications arrising from your alternatives.

The first place to start is, of course, Google. Type "Sephiroth Sword" and google will automatically offer you search results from their shopping/products search. This features the sword from dozens of retailers, making it much easier to find. Your next step is to look through both Amazon and eBay for the masamune blade. You may find swords that are not as accurate, or are more accurate than the real thing: it all depends on time, skill, and luck.

Unfortunately, an actual size Sephiroth sword is over 100 inches long, if you consider Sephiroth about 7' tall and use a triangle to measure it's length based on a number of pictures of the white haired villian. Even the best, cheapest resellers of the sword only offered swords as long as 68". Even this length, though, is nearly unwieldy for the standard person, making buying a longer version unadvisable. A sixty eight inch sword will be long enough to beat any other swords, and you'll still look like the real Sephiroth.
