Don't Miss These Hot Spots When You Visit Treasure Island Las Vegas
Treasure Island Las Vegas is a deluxe hotel in the middle of all the action on the world famous Las Vegas Strip. With comfortable, luxurious rooms, gourmet restaurants, world class entertainment and a huge casino, Treasure
Island is a premier destination for your Las Vegas vacation. On a recent trip to Las Vegas, I visited Treasure Island for many days. These get my vote for the best places to visit at Treasure Island Las Vegas for food, shopping and entertainment.
Kahunaville - this casual restaurant and bar has the look and feel of a tropical hut. The restaurant opens daily at 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sun - Thu, 11 p.m. Fri and Sat. The food has a Polynesian flair with a lot of ginger and tropical fruit. Try the scrumptious crab bisque and the yummy coconut macadamia chicken. If liquid refreshment is what you are after, the bar serves every kind of fruity drink with little umbrellas that you ever heard of - and some they made up. The bar stays open until 2 a.m. Sun - Thu and 3 a.m. Fri and Sat. with entertainment nightly. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday you can listen to the dueling pianos and on Thursday at 11 p.m. is the weekly bartender flair contest. The bartenders go head to head to see who can do the most daring and intricate moves with a cocktail shaker. Think Tom Cruise in "Cocktail."
Canter's Deli - open daily 11 a.m. to midnight. Although the original Canter's is an LA landmark, the corned beef on rye is good enough for this New York girl. Great when you just want soup, try the barley bean, or a sandwich. The New York cheesecake was just like home.
Mystere Store - this store sells items related to all the Cirque du Soliel shows. They had mugs and accessories, Venetian masks, nice, well made jackets and shirts, beautiful handbags, videos and music. Just about every Cirque du Soliel show is represented. Great store for gifts as you won't find these items anywhere else.
