Six Thrill Seeking Roller Coasters in Las Vegas
Are you in Las Vegas looking for a thrilling adventure? If so, visit the array of roller coasters they have available for such an adventure.
Speed is a roller coaster located at the Sahara Hotel-Casino. It has been called the best ride in Vegas. You begin by being catapulted by using electromagnet force from the launch area at 35 mph and then go through a mist-filled tunnel 25 ft. below ground. When you surface, be prepared
for a 72 ft. loop as you accelerate to 70 mph. Speed will have you griping tightly and screaming to the top of your lungs, as you can only see the first twist, after that what lies ahead is unknown for the thrill seeking passengers. You will speed through the Sahara Marquee to the top at 224 ft. where the only thing you see is the sky above you. After reaching this height, get ready to do it all again, except this time, it is backwards. At the end of the ride a souvenir photo is taken at the exits. This ride lasts 45 seconds and you must be at least 54 inches tall. The cost of the ride is as follows: $10.00 per person or $13.00 for an all day pass.
The Canyon Blaster located at Circus Circus Hotel-Casino is the only indoor roller coaster with double loops and cork screws. Take a ride filled with twists and turns stretching up to 90 ft. in the air on this 2,000 ft. track. Canyon Blaster reaches speeds of 55 mph and momentarily comes close to another ride at Circus Circus called, Chaos. Reservations for this ride are available for birthdays, groups and private parties only. The cost for this adventure is $7.00 per person and you must be 48 inches tall to ride.
