Le Central French Cuisine at Family Affordable Prices - a Denver Gem

Fine Food, Fine Service and Fantastic Friendly Attitude Are Hallmarks of Le Central

Denver's Le Central restaurant is well named. You can pretty much tell by the name that it is a French restaurant. You also will agree on arrival that the restaurant is very centrally located in Denver's Capitol Hill area. Not being located in the ultra high rent district of the 16th

Street Mall or Larimer Street area definitely shows in the menu tariff. Another benefit of the Le Central location is the better availability of parking. It is an unfortunate fact that parking near the downtown mall can be an expensive nightmare.

Somehow, Le Central has managed to remain somewhat unknown to many of Denver's citizens. Often it's only when a visitor relates a very good dining experience that some Denver citizens learn about Le Central. On making their first visit they find a restaurant with great atmosphere, fine cuisine at really great prices. The staff at this restaurant are all very well trained, efficient and friendly. Even the village cottage type of building Le Central is located in helps get you into a French mood upon entering.

The food is, of course, French but there are surprises. Despite the very affordable pricing, the portions are generally generous. This is not always the case at French restaurants. I especially love the French fried potatoes that come as a side dish with some entrée on the menu.

Le Central has a wonderful buffet on Sunday's and is packed every Sunday. Reservations are highly recommended especially for days like Valentine's or Mother's Day. Le Central has a very good wine list and if you need suggestions you might be surprised that they don't automatically recommend something only Donald Trump could afford.

To be frank, although any restaurant can have a bad day, I have never heard of any of my Denver acquaintances having a bad meal at this restaurant. The waiters and waitresses are probably not any more efficient and friendly than at other restaurants but they sure seem like they are. Is it possible we expect bad service at a French restaurant?
