With the winter approaching your skin is going to be going through some major changes. Even though I live in Florida, and we only get a few bursts of cool weather, I can see the change in my skin. This little change can make my skin hard to deal with and more prone to break outs. Before you go on a rampage and head to the dermatologist to spend your life's savings try some of these at home remedies and save your money!

Try some of these simple at home remedies to get clear and soft skin.

Steam out impurities once a week with tea tree oil

Things you will need:
Kitchen pot
Kitchen towel
Bowl
Tea tree oil

Head to your kitchen to help clear out impurities. Pull out a pot and fill it up with a couple of cups of water. Boil your water, and then pour it into a metal bowl. Add several drops of tea tree oil. You can purchase tea tree oil from any health food store. Then find somewhere comfortable to sit(its best at a table). Set your bowl on the table and lean in towards the steam. Cover your head with a towel, and relax for 5 minutes. The steam will open up your pores, and the tea tree oil will help to clean them out. This is a great inexpensive method to getting out all the impurities that build up over the week. After your done steaming, splash your skin with cold water to help lock out impurities, and tighten your pores.

Essential diet for clear skin

The expression "you are what you eat", is very true. Diet plays a huge role in the way your skin will look and feel. If you want beautiful skin you are going to have to work harder to get it, unless you were lucky to be born with flawless skin. Most of us are not that lucky, so get your grocery list ready and pack your kart full of the following skin food:

Salmon, and tuna

If your crunched for time, or don't have the extra money to spend on wild salmon, stock your freezer with frozen salmon. Eating any kind of fish is better than leaving it out of your diet. Canned tuna is inexpensive, and will help keep your skin healthy. You should try to eat salmon or tuna at least 3 times a week. Fish holds essential fatty acids that your skin craves.

Eating the fish is a great idea. Only precaution is pregnant women are not to eat more than 2 servings of salmon a week. Helpful article.
